Web & Technical Content Creator Specialist

Role description:

We are looking for a talented Web Content Writer to create engaging, relevant, and SEO-friendly content for our website. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of digital content strategy, excellent writing skills, and the ability to adapt tone and style for various types of content.

Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, compelling, and grammatically correct content for our website, including articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and implement best practices to increase website traffic.
  • Edit and proofread content before publication to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into content strategies.
  • Research, write, edit, and proofread technical documents such as user manuals, installation guides, release notes, API -documentation, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, marketers, designers, and other teams to plan and develop site content, style, and layout, also other subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content.
  • Organize and maintain documentation repositories and version control systems to ensure documentation is up-to--date and accessible.
  • Ensure documentation adheres to company standards, style guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve documentation quality and user experience.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, customer support, and marketing to deliver comprehensive documentation solutions.


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Web Content Writer, Copywriter, Technical Writer, Technical Editor, or similar role.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
  • Strong research skills and ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand content
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and visuals.
  • Proficiency with technical writing tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research and optimization.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with digital marketing strategies and content distribution.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track content performance.
  • Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of XML authoring tools and markup languages.
  • Experience with graphic design tools for creating visuals (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Visio).
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
