Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Specialist with a strong background in IT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a deep understanding of the mechanisms of IT training. This permanent position involves designing, organizing, and managing various IT training programs that meet the needs of our employees and the objectives of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify required IT training for staff at different levels within the organization.
• Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources that align with current IT best practices and company standards.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions using a variety of teaching techniques tailored to adult learners.
• Implement e-learning strategies, including webinars, instructional videos, and online modules.
• Collaborate with IT departments to ensure training material is up-to-date with new technology rollouts or updates.
• Oversee and manage the IT training calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource allocation. Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback forms, surveys, and by monitoring job performance post-training.
• Maintain records of training activities and employee progress.
• Stay abreast with the latest developments in both general training methodologies and IT-specific educational materials.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Training Specialist or similar role within an IT environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with modern training processes and e-learning platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and to build and maintain positive relationships across the organization.
• A degree in Education, Training, HR, IT, or related field is preferable.
• English and Arabic are must.
